Dolapo Osinbajo is not only a beautiful woman, she is the woman who makes the Vice President’s heart beat faster. Today is a happy day for the family of the Vice President of Nigeria as his wife of 26 celebrates her 49th year birthday.

Aside from his very glowing message about Dolapo Osinbajo being his wings, the delectable grandchild of the late Obafemi Awolowo also shared pictures of both of them cutting her beautiful birthday cake.

But there are five things you should know about this very reserved but strong woman whose beauty is disarming.

*She lost her mother Otunba Olubusola Soyode, one of the children of the late Awolowo, in 2011. Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo is the leader of the Ladies Fellowship of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Jesus House Parish.

*In October 2014, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo launched her book, ‘They Call Me Mama, From the Under Bridge Diaries’ in Lagos. She said that her drive to write the book came from her experiences with some street boys and men in Lagos State, and with the book, she aims to give them a human face. With the proceeds, she also hopes to sustain her efforts in getting the street urchins off the roads and into homes. They are lost, but can be found. That was why she was compelled to write the book and dedicate it to everyone who is lost.

*Dolapo Osibanjo is a supporter of women. She encourages the society to always say no to violence against women that could be perpetrated through attacks when hawking, marrying a violent and uncontrollable man, handing over the child for others to train, rape, slavery among other forms of assault against women and girls.

*Recently, leading African businessman and philanthropist, Tony O. Elumelu CON joined the First Lady of Nigeria, Mrs. Aisha Buhari and wife of the Vice President of Nigeria, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo at a forum and exhibition on Nigerian Women in Export which was held in Abuja. Themed ‘Achieving Zero Oil Growth Through Women Inclusiveness in Global Export Trade’, this year’s Stakeholders Forum and Exhibition is organised by the National Export Promotion Council and the International Trade Center (ITC) in Geneva.

*Dolapo Osinbajo, wife of the vice President of Nigeria is as simple as they come. She dresses in simple yet classy attires. Even in the midst of plenty, she is used to gracing the public with her beautiful, simple yet classy native wears.
