Adaeze and Joseph Yobo celebrate 7 years of marital bliss

Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Adaeze Yobo and her footballer husband Joseph Yobo are celebrating 7 years of marital bliss today January 1, 2017.

Heavily pregnant Adaeze Yobo posted a loving message to celebrate her beautiful marriage on Instagram. She wrote:

”Popped the question 3 months after we met and I have been all in ya business ever since.

7 years, 3 cities, 6 different addresses, 1 poke nosing 6-year-old that can tell when we are fighting even when we pretend in his face, I little rascal + 1 more on the way.

You are still the annoying, anti social, sexy, God fearing, intelligent , very loving and caring man I met.

I love that when we fight, you can’t get anything done cos you are worried. I should get you a trophy for putting up with me babe. I love our relationship, our trust and love. Thank you God for making my marriage beautiful.”

Adaeze had pursued her childhood dream by representing Anambra State in the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant with 29 other girls. She focused on Sickle Cell Awareness during her tenure. She also used her reign as a platform to showcase Nigerian talent.

During her reign, Yobo established her own charity The Adaeze Igwe Foundation, an organisation which promotes AIDS and Breast Cancer awareness, and raises funds towards similar causes, including Malaria and Tuberculosis.

Its mission was “to create and increase access and opportunities to Nigerian youths and communities towards addressing [their] needs and challenges in relation to health and sustainable development.”  She attended a short course at the New York Film Academy.

In 2010, Yobo married Fenerbahçe S.K. player Joseph Yobo in a midnight ceremony held in Jos, Plateau state after a brief courtship and are now the parents of two sons. They are expecting another tiny feet soon too.

We at Feminine Nigeria wish them many blissful years together as they celebrate today.
