I hate it when people tell women to fight for their marriages

One phrase I hate hearing especially from women to other women married to irresponsible men is ‘fight for your marriage.’

Some take it a notch higher by telling these women going through emotional and psychological torture to fight for their marriages on their knees.

You people should stop talking nonsense please. This whole fight for your marriage crap is an annoying excuse that allows irresponsible men get off the hook easily.

You see a woman suffering because she married one wicked man and you still have the nerve to tell her to fight for a marriage that is robbing her of peace and rest.

Stop telling women to fight for their marriages

What is wrong with a man fighting for his marriage and on his knees too? Don’t these men claim they are the heads? Don’t they have responsibilities to keep their marriages too?

I don’t know when some Nigerian women will stop babysitting grown men in the name of marriage. You shouldn’t be doing the fighting while he’s destroying your efforts.

It takes two willing, committed people to make a marriage work. It is not and will never be a woman’s duty alone to fight for any marriage. She’s not married to herself.

So, the next time you are tempted to tell a woman to fight for her marriage, make sure you are telling her husband to do the same.

These men should stop misbehaving because their women take all their crap. Stop encouraging wickedness and irresponsibility with such phrase.

People should stop making excuses for bad men and stop heaping the responsibility of making a marriage work on the woman. Men should rise to the task too.

I hate it when people excuse men’s bad behaviour and claim a wise woman builds her home with her hands. Men should be fighting for their marriages too.

A woman is not a donkey created to suffer till she drops dead because she’s fighting for a bad marriage. She should be fighting together with her husband.

It is enough! We should stop encouraging irresponsibility. I hate it when men maltreat women and they are told to pray for them to change. That’s crap.
