Winnie Harlow makes history as first model with Vitiligo to walk runway at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Canadian supermodel, Winnie Harlow, made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Thursday, becoming the first model with vitiligo to walk the runway for the lingerie giant.
The 24-year-old and girlfriend of American rapper Wiz Khalifa stormed the runway in a pink underwear set with feather detail and shimmery silver camisole.
She later made a second appearance rocking a floral cut-out catsuit over a matching balconette bra with yellow trim.
Winnie’s outfit featured long gloved sleeves and stirrup leggings which she wore with sky-high floral mules.
Adding extra glitz to her look were a pair of statement chandelier earrings which stood out against her chestnut brown locks.
Elated about her first VS Fashion Show Winnie shared a snap from backstage as she got glammed up.
Sitting in a pink director’s chair with a full view of her pert derriere, the star captioned the saucy snap: ‘Almost that time! So excited to make my debut Let the @victoriassecret show begin!!’
The former America’s Next Top Model contestant exuded confidence and sensuality as she looked back over her shoulder in the Victoria’s Secret branded pink chair.
‘I have to admit, my nerves are a little bit higher than they usually are,’ she told People before the show. Winnie Harlow jokes about being married to Cindy Bruna.
‘I’ve cried a lot but mostly tears of happiness. This is the first major show I’ve done that will be broadcasted across the world on TV, which raises the stakes big time. ‘But I’m more excited than anything else,’ she explained.
