When this is all over, we will be reborn says Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe-Etim

Nollywood actress Nse Ikpe-Etim said when this whole COVID-19 pandemic is over, we will all be reborn into a new life and a new way of doing things and by that time, the universe as we know it will be changed forever.

Nse Ikpe-Etim wrote:

“Someday, when all of this is over, we will all be reborn. Born into a new world, a new way of life and the universe as we know it would’ve changed forever.

The one thing that will remain constant will be our ability to hope, our ability to love unconditionally and our ability to be thankful for the little things.

Love is that which binds us. Hope is that which keeps us going when all seems bleak.
The hope that things will be normal again, that we can hug again, and party again, and work again.

Until then, we keep hoping and staying safe.”

When this is all over we all will be reborn

This is so beautiful. Hope is what is keeping us at this time because the figures of people infected with COVID-19 keeps rising daily while some other people who still believe it’s a scam don’t take precautions by practicing social distancing and washing their hands often.

This morning, as I sat down watching Television, there was a scene of two friends hugging and holding on to each other for a while before they sat down to talk. That scene almost left me in tears.

I am a hugger. I love to hug my family members and friends. I have missed opening my arms and hugging my friends. I have missed holding on to my girlfriends at work as I wrap them up in warm, endearing hugs.

I have missed going to the gym. I was imagining how I would spend time hugging my gym buddies when this is finally over and I smiled to myself. I reflected on how much our lives have changed because of coronavirus.

Then I stumbled on Nse Ikpe-Etim’s post as I scrolled past posts on Instagram and it was like a confirmation of what I was thinking about earlier. It made me so emotional. It made me realize how much we take some things for granted.

I’m looking forward to attending parties when this is all over. I look forward to truly living a new life and not taking things for granted. I look forward to going out and staying in crowded places without fear. I look forward to spending time with family and friends.
