Nigerian women should stop making excuses for their men’s infidelity.
Whenever a Nigerian husband throws the cheating card at his wife, you see Nigerians, nay, Nigerian women come out in droves to crucify the woman, strip her of her every dignity she has left and then, hang her out to dry.
These women won’t even show any iota of solidarity to their kind.
They won’t even try to make excuses for her like they do for the men who lie and cheat on their wives without blinking.
But when the man is accused of cheating with edible babes, Nigerian women come up with excuses.
Men will be men.
Men are babies.
Men are polygamous in nature.
Go on your knees and pray for your home.
Protect your husband from small girls who want to snatch him from you.
Don’t ever demand fidelity from him as he demands from you as his wife because you will annoy him to the point of replacing you.
A wise woman builds her home with her hands and every other trash they spew from their brains.
Little wonder these men don’t take us seriously.
That is why these men will keep disrespecting their wives because some of us keep making excuses for them.
That is why they will always pitch us against one another.
And because marriage to an average Naija woman who clutches religion like a purse is like oxygen, these things will keep happening.
Men will keep desecrating their marriages because they know you will excuse their many flings.
All these women do is use Bible verses to justify nonsense just to feel important about themselves.
How dare you judge a fellow woman of the same thing you will make excuses for a man for?
Is it not the same blood that runs through the veins of women as it runs in that of men?
Is a married woman blind to small boys or fine boys with six packs?
Does she become a log of wood, who stops feeling attracted to the opposite sex because she’s married?
Is it not the same way her husband sees peperempes everywhere that she sees six packs chewing gum boys too?
Or are women not human beings?
Until these stay married and die women start understanding that it takes two to make a marriage work, women will keep dying in silence in the hell they call marriages for fear of what others will say about them.
You can’t keep working your ass off to keep a man and a home that the man doesn’t want to keep.
Hell no, you can’t keep any man who refuses to be kept.
If he’s not making the same efforts as you to make your marriage blissful, give him chance.
Marriage should be important to both of you.
Women, stop tolerating trash so that society will call you a virtuous woman.
What are you teaching your daughters, that it is okay to be lied to, cheated on and treated like a nobody because you must keep a home?
Who told you that is the way to keep a home?
You will die young if you keep taking in trash because of a man.
Let him do his part.
And you do your part.
That is how it will work.
Stop killing yourself just to keep a man by your side.
You can’t keep a wandering penis.
You can’t even keep anyone, you are not God.
