Many women desire to be in healthy relationships. They desire to have relationships filled with love, happiness and peace.
Unfortunately, so many women are in unhealthy relationships. This is because they don’t know the characteristics of a healthy relationship and an unhealthy relationship.
These women tend to fall for any man who says hello to them. They do this because they don’t pay attention to some of the characteristics of an unhealthy relationship. This is they end up hurt and abused in dysfunctional relationships.
Below are 10 components of a healthy relationship women and girls should know.
Your partner values your relationship. Your partner should be loyal to you and your relationship and be willing to work through conflicts together with you. Your partner needs to believe in your relationship. Healthy couples stay committed to the lessons and growth that come while they are together despite the challenges they face.
Your partner shouldn’t try to fix or control you. Your partner shouldn’t try to force you to change or be someone else. Your partner should allow you to be yourself and not try to fix you.
Your relationship is based on mutual love and respect. Your partner doesn’t have more power over decisions you both make as a couple. You both should have an equal say and have equal control over decisions and equally respect each other as different and unique human beings.
