Relationship tips single ladies shouldn’t ignore

My dear single ladies, it hurts me when I see you ladies killing yourselves for men who do not appreciate your efforts and most importantly doesn’t deserve you. It is painful that you see the writing on the wall and still choose to play dumb.

I hear people say love is blind. For me, it has two very good eyes and nose. It sees and breaths.

Therefore, when you find yourself in one or more of the following situations enumerated below, you are fooling yourself and the earlier you tell yourself the truth, the better.

Relationship tips for single ladies

1. You seem to be the only one announcing to anybody who cares to listen that “so and so” is my boyfriend, but “so and so” avoids being with you much less announcing you and you do not see anything wrong with that.

2. You seem to be the one picking fights for him in the name of “protecting his interest” but when your “fight” comes, he is nowhere to be found.

3. You prepare for his birthday monthly, bimonthly, quarterly, every 6 months with very beautiful gifts but how very convincing he gets when he tells you he had soo much to do (busy bee) on your special day that he forgot and worse still he didn’t get you a “pin” and annoyingly for me you understand .Bull crap!

4. All your family members (Daddy, Mummy, Brothers, Sisters, Uncles, Aunties, Cousins, Grand Pa, Grand Ma etc) know him because you have done the “introduction” by yourself but you haven’t even met his “very” distant cousin.

5. You have put your life on hold. You have stopped doing the things you love doing (like playing that sports you like, watching that soap opera, attending choir practice, having girls outing etc) because he says he doesn’t like them but his own activities are good to go and up and running. Mtscheeeew!

My very precious single ladies, in all honesty, when I discovered I settled for less, I dusted my ass and changed direction. I always went and I am still going for the best in all I do and I urge you to do same.

Ladies, don’t become a victim of societal pressure and make yourself unhappy for the rest of your life.

Some male chauvinists will tell single ladies that your “clock is ticking” So? Who made them your “timer”? You deserve the best and must go for the best no matter when it comes.

Single ladies, in this journey of finding love, it is supposed to be a path followed by two persons coming from opposite directions that meet each other at a “point”.

Recommended “meeting point” should be 50/50. I can understand 60/40 but when “meeting points” of 70/30, 80/20, 90/10, 100/0 begin to occur, it is a NO! NO!!

It is only single ladies who don’t love themselves that wallow in desperation to keep unwilling men. Ladies, it’s time to live your life with your senses intact in relationships.
