Tonto Dikeh is making headlines again after revealing how she discovered her ex husband was a yahoo guy.

But her revelations didn’t go down well with some people. Blessing Okoro penned down this open letter to Tonto Dikeh.

Dear Tonto,

I took my time to watch your interview and I saw all the bitterness, pain and disappointment in your eyes not even your words.

I saw how u desperately wanted to be heard and prove the world wrong with all your evidence.

I saw the betrayal at every time you broke down it was not an act but a sincere emotional display you could not control.

Sincerely, this letter is not to get your attention or to make you like me but I am writing this because I love you as a woman.

In your interview all you said you wanted was a friend a true friend to trust which you have not found and you will find.

Sometimes I wish I knew you in person. I wish I knew your house, I wish I had your phone number or any connection to you just to tell you that silence is a virtue.

I remember when I fought openly like you .
I took up every battle with my ex husband, wanted to prove a point to the world too, I shouted but nobody was listening they were only hearing the sound not my voice .

I will go to court and scream like a mad woman and the demon will be so calm. They called me a mad woman. Some said I deserved the beatings I got.

I understand when people pinch you and you scream. They forget that a pinch is soundless but your voice is loud.

Nobody cares about what happened to you but how you react to what happened to you.
I learnt silence by force.

My ex manipulated me, he could predict me and know how to trigger me to go mad and the world only saw my madness not his trigger.

Then I decided to play by his game and dealt with him silently with a plastic smile, then I won. I don’t think ur ex was more demonic than mine.

Dear Tonto, enough of the screaming my darling. It’s time to let him go. No matter how you fight for justice, you cannot fight history and future.

Quench your fire and let him choke on the smoke. Please strong women fight silent battle and loud their victory.

Please, please, my love. The fastest way to kill people is silence. What you keep silent no longer exist, they are dead.

The public don’t care about any of us, they just get entertained. Take the voice of this stranger.

Love from Okoro Blessing.
