My husband is not a rapist declares Biodun Fatoyinbo’s wife Modele

Modele Fatoyinbo, wife of embattled pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) has finally broken her silence regarding the recent rape allegation against her husband.

Mrs Fatoyinbo said this while addressing members of the church this morning.

“My husband is not a rapist. Even if he was not a believer, he would not be a rapist.” she said.

Just before Mrs Fatoyinbo could complete her speech, her husband collected the microphone from her and stressed that the elders of the church were handling the rape allegation.

No sermon was preached in the church today as some Nigerians staged a peaceful protest against the pastor close to his church premises.

There have been calls for Fatoyinbo to step down until investigations into the rape allegations have been concluded.

On a serious note, what did we expect this woman to say about the allegations of rape and sexual misconduct against her husband?

Modele Fatoyinbo can’t say anything other than echo the same thing her husband wrote in his robust reply statement which he made public two days ago.
