Some Nigerian men make the mistake of thinking they can’t be replaced. They treat their women like crap and expect these women to continue putting up with their nonsense behaviour.
They even back up their irresponsible acts with Bible verses. When they get tired of doing that, they conveniently switch to culture and tradition just to continue maltreating these women.
But when a woman decides to take back her life and stop crying over her irresponsible husband, they start claiming she is cheating. They expect her to die crying over an irresponsible man.
When she no longer jumps from church to church and from one prayer mountain to another praying for her husband to at least have sense, she is seeing another man.
That is when every man who greets her or smiles at her is her lover. You people play too much. I don’t know why some men think they are ice cream or chocolate that can remain in a woman’s life forever.
They start monitoring her movements, who she’s calling and who is calling her. They insist that it is not possible for a woman to stop caring about her husband’s irresponsible behaviour.
Some try to emotionally blackmail these women by reminding them that it is the duty of women to raise their men to their tastes. I don’t understand what this means.
If the woman who gave birth to you and raised you for three decades couldn’t do a good job with you, what can the one you married do and why should she babysit you to begin with?
Treat your woman the way you want to be treated. But when you decide not to be the man she wants, just have it at the back of your mind that you are very replaceable.
No human being is irreplaceable to begin with. Nigerian men should stop making this mistake in relationships and marriages because Nigerian women are learning to dump them and their trashy behavior.
