Many Nigerian men make the mistake of thinking that all women are the same. They say this without thinking deep about it. No two women are the same. You don’t treat every woman you meet like you treated your ex because you think you are a professional in women affairs.
I remember when I had an argument with a colleague about this issue. He claimed that women have fish brains and all they want is money and gifts. I told him that wasn’t true and proceeded to educate him about discarding that mindset so he won’t destroy his new relationship.
I told him that some women don’t care about men’s money or how much they spend on gifts if these men don’t love them and treat them with respect. I reminded him of some women who walked away from rich men in abusive marriages and the ones who refused to pray for their rich, serial cheating husbands.
Uncle laughed and said those women are just attention seekers who took the advice of Facebook feminists and destroyed their marriages. He insisted that all women were the same and I gladly left him alone. He’s gonna learn. Experience will teach him.
Many men don’t know how to make their women happy. They are only interested in seeking their own happiness. They are good at dragging their women’s bras and pants like ‘I big pass my neighbour’ generator set when they want to have sex. They don’t even bother if their women are enjoying it or if they reached orgasm.
Many women are having crappy sex with men who don’t know how to pleasure them sexually. These men believe that only men are meant to enjoy sex. That is how they end up with unhappy women who are suffering from lack of orgasms.
Some men don’t know how to give their women gifts. They think this gesture is for white men. If you don’t make your woman by giving her gifts, you will end up with a angry, bitter and cranky woman. It doesn’t cost much to buy your woman a gift. It’s the intent that matters.
It is sad that many Nigerian men believe that listening to their women, taking their advice and taking decisions together make them weaklings. This is why some of them end up making a mess of their lives, finances and family dreams.
If you want a woman who will be loyal to you, you have to listen to her. Don’t interrupt her when she’s talking. Don’t dismiss her fears and concerns with a wave of hand. You are hurting her and teaching her how to stop confiding in you.
If you don’t stop doing that, another man will listen to her and your relationship won’t remain the same. Stop calling her a nag because she wants the best for you. You are pushing her away.
