It has been revealed that Kim Kardashian will get $6m cash and a Bel Air mansion in her divorce from rapper Kanye West under the terms of a pre-nuptial agreement.
Kim Kardashian West has filed for divorce from Kanye West, according to a court clerk for Los Angeles Superior Court.
Christy Welder, a representative for Kardashian West, confirmed the divorce filing but said Kardashian West had no additional comment.
The filing cites irreconcilable differences and Kardashian West seeks joint custody of the couple’s four children. It also cites a prenuptial agreement regarding their assets.
The couple filed for divorce after six years of marriage having living separate lives in recent months.
It is sad because some of their die hard fans in Nigeria like me are hoping that the divorce talks isn’t true.

According to some sources who spoke to the media, the break up has been as amicable as a divorce can be.
Before their extravagant wedding in 2014, Kardashian and West hired their lawyers to prepare a pre-nup in case of a divorce. It was if they knew their marriage would end in a divorce.
According to RadarOnline.com Kardashain will receive $1m for every year they were married, taking the total to £6m.
She would also keep the couple’s Bel Air home which was put under her name and all the gifts and jewellery were given to her by West.
These include a $40,000 hand-painted Hermes bag, several Cartier bracelets valued at at least $35,000 each, and a neon green Mercedes-Benz G550 SUV worth at least $227,000.
Most famously, Kanye gave Kim two engagement rings – one was valued at $2million and the second one, which was stolen during the famous Paris robbery was valued at $4.5million.
The couple married in a luxurious Italian wedding in May 2014 and have four children, daughters seven year old North and two year old Chicago, and sons five year old Saint, and one year old Psalm.
Before marrying Kanye West six years ago, Kardashian was married to basketball player, Kris Humphries for only 72 days.
