British singer and actress, Alexandra Burke has confirmed her new romance with West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph, 34 eight months after her split from footballer Angus MacDonald following 15-months of dating.
The 32-year-old singer confirmed her new romance with West Ham goalie by taking to Instagram to share a loved-up selfie of them together during a date night, on Sunday.
The X Factor star and the Irish sportsman enjoyed dinner at high-end Japanese restaurant Roka, in London and shared photos from the date.
Darren posted the photograph, with the caption: ‘London date night’ and proudly tagged his girlfriend. She also commented with a heart-eyes emoji and a love heart.
A source told The Sun at the time: ‘It’s early days and Alexandra has deliberately taken things incredibly slowly.
‘They’ve had a series of dates but not been able to meet up as much as they would have wanted due to her hectic work schedule and the Covid restrictions.
Alexandra was extremely reluctant to date another footballer but Darren is the sweetest, most down-to-earth guy — and incredibly charming. He wore her down!’
The source added that due to their hectic schedules – Alexandra is currently rehearsing for the West End’s upcoming run of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – they are ‘super-happy’ seeing each other when they can.
The Sun also claimed that Alexandra posted a picture of Darren, who used to date The Saturdays star Rochelle before she married Marvin Humes in 2012, on her Instagram Story, back in May.

Burke shares the middle names Cecelia Ewen with her mother and her sister, Sheneice. Burke said that she had to grow up very fast, at a very young age as her mother was always touring with her band and that she had to look after her young brother, which included taking him to and picking him up from school.
