Cameroonian singer, Dencia has advised people to spend more on their parents instead of their friends when they make money.
Dencia wrote:
“When you make money, take your parents who were active in your life on the luxury vacations you take NOT UR DANN FRIENDS ALL THE TIME.
You fly your parents who raised u in Economy but got ur GF, wife, side chicks, friends etc in jets, biz class etc!! Really?
You buy your side chicks, wife, girlfriends expensive, nice stuff but buy the parents who raised you $2 shit. My friend, your life is looking sideways.
Cuz your friends were there from day one still don’t make them get the sh*t you should be giving the people who birth and raised u unless ur parents are fucking sh*t up for you like some parents I know who don’t deserve shit.
If you have great parents, look out for them even if they can afford certain things, still do little things got them. But it’s ur $$, I’m just saying.”
Reprudencia Sonkey, professionally known as Dencia is a Cameroonian singer and entrepreneur. She is the inventor of a skin-lightening cream called Whitenicious.
The singer is known for her fashion, music and appearances on red carpets at the Billboard Music Awards, the Grammys, and the American Music Awards.
She was born in Cameroon and attended her primary school education at The Government English Primary School at Lake Central in Yaoundé and later on went for her secondary school education at Cameroon Protestant College (CPC) Bail in the North West Region of Cameroon.
She started in the industry being featured in music videos of artists like Chris Brown, Lady Gaga, 50 Cent, and Ludacris.
Dencia released her debut single “Beri Beri” in 2011.
As a designer, she has created looks for artists like Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Christina Milian, and Lil’ Mama, and is known for her own fashion statements and appearances on red carpets at the Billboard Music Awards, the Grammys, and the American Music Awards.
In 2014, Dencia launched her skincare line, Whitenicious, infamously including a skin lightening & brightening creams.
