Actress Jemima Osunde was dragged into an exchange with some of her followers on Twitter after she tweeted about not cooking when she gets married.
Osunde in her tweet admitted that she knows to cook but does not enjoy it. She further revealed that she and her partner will be getting someone to do it.
This however irked some followers who countered her tweets.
Jemima Osunde said:
Can I cook? YES
Do I enjoy cooking? NO Will I force myself to enjoy it? HELL NO Will I marry someone who can or can not not cook? YES
Why?
Because we WILL EMPLOY SOMEONE TO DO IT!!!! And when cases come up that the chef is not available, I will do it temporarily.
Feel free to disagree with me. At the end of the day, I’m not the one you will marry.
Not every time suffer head Olympics in the name of marital duty.
Anyway, you people should do your marriage the way you want. Just don’t shove it down our throats.
If I prefer to watch Kdrama over cooking that’s my cup of tea and I will drink it with my husband Fnks.”
A Twitter user @The film people commented:
Cooking is now suffer head. lol
Jemima responded: Your comprehension.
Let me explain it to you since you don’t understand. Forcing yourself to do something you don’t enjoy everyday is not fun. Do you get it now?
Grimaldi commented:
“Why is it, a women can want different things from a partner but a taboo for a man to want anything at all from a woman, y?”
Jemima Osunde responded:
“I’m not sure why you’re asking ME this question.”
