No one owes you ‘valid reasons’ why they do what they want with their body

No one owes you “valid reasons” as to why they do what they want with their body.

– I just hate cooking is enough valid reason.

– I do not want to get married married for no reason at all is valid

– I am childless by choice and for no reason at all is enough valid reason.

Stop expecting people to give you concrete reason why they make the choices they make.

EVEN IF THE REASON IS SELFISH, it so valid because it is their body, it so neither yours nor that of the society.

So if a woman who wants a child is childless because she has a medical condition, it is valid and I’d a woman who is fertile and agile is childless by choice, her reason is valid. CHOICE IS A TWO WAY STREET,YOU CAN CHOOSE TO OR CHOOSE NOT TO.

Whether their reason was borne out of medical condition, trauma, because she doesn’t want to distort her body shape or she just doesn’t feel like, it is good of enough reason. No one owes you an explanation.

People don’t need to have a “traumatising” experience as to why they do not not want to conform to societal standards before we consider it valid. SELFISH REASONS IS VALID REASON. It so their body not the society’s body.

Society exist for us, we do not exist for the society. You can’t tell people to use their body the way society expects them to use it in as much as they are not posing risk to others.”

I can relate with this. I don’t understand why Nigerians, especially men think women owe them explanations as to how they want to live their lives.

Whenever a woman comes out to say something she won’t do, men get angry, they start asking her ridiculous questions. Some start insulting her and calling her names.

Nigerian women should live life on their own terms. They shouldn’t live for the validation of society, this society doesn’t care about women.
