Members of the Royal Family took to their respective social media accounts to wish Meghan Markle a happy 40th birthday.
The Duchess of Sussex turns 40 today, August 4.
The Royal Family Twitter account shared a series of photos of Meghan while she was a working senior royal, including one Meghan with Queen Elizabeth.
The Royal Family Twitter account wrote: “Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very Happy Birthday today!”
Prince Charles and Camilla shared a photo of Meghan and wrote in a tweet: “Wishing The Duchess of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton have extended sweet birthday wishes to Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, who turned 40 on Wednesday.

Sharing a throwback adorable photo of Meghan on Twitter, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tweeted “Wishing a happy 40th birthday to The Duchess of Sussex!” followed by a birthday cake emoji.
Meghan Markle will be celebrating the milestone birthday with husband Harry and the couple’s two children Archie, two, and Lilibet, who was born in June, at their Montecito mansion in Santa Barbara, California.
Some reports suggest she will have an intimate party in the grounds of their home with about 65 closest friends and family.
Meghan’s mother Doria, as well as close friends Oprah Winfrey, George and Amal Clooney are reportedly attending, but no other Royal Family members are expected to make an appearance.
Harry is pulling out all the stops to make Meghan’s 40th a special day, and has ordered a cake – dubbed “ludicrous” by The Sun – from nearby bakery Posies & Sugar, Tatler has reported.
Harry and Meghan are still on parental leave following the arrival of their daughter, nicknamed Lili, in June.
Things will be quiet with their newborn and their 2-year-old son Archie, especially amid the worsening Covid-19 situation in their new home state of California.
