Ijeoma Chinonyerem says emotional intelligence and kindness is scarce on Facebook

A Facebook user Ijeoma Chinonyerem has taken a swipe at some people on Facebook for saying one thing and doing another thing.

Ijeoma Chinonyerem wrote:

“Emotional intelligence and kindness scarce here o. Especially in these love and light folks.

If na people like me that they call mean and evul and blablabla dey do some certain things, e go dey understandable. But na these love and light mamas that are making me scream in shock and horror.

Like the person who betrayed her friend’s confidence for money which led to her friend getting fired, lied about it when confronted, and when the truth came out, told the friend to block her.

Then came on Facebook to tell us Facebook friends are not real life friends as if it’s a justification for what she did.

 

 

As if such betrayal is good for even a stranger. After all the sis here and there. No apology, no remorse, no kindness.

I still dey try recover from that when another one made series of post insulting people who make 50k or less, calling them unserious, seeking pity and other sorts of names in a country where the minimum wage no even reach 50k.

But e be like we come to Facebook and forget alladat. If not, why would you come to Facebook and shame or insult people who earn 50k and below monthly in Nigeria?

Nigeria that is the poverty capital of the world is where you will come and make posts insulting young people who earn less than 50k monthly and calling them unserious because you feel you make money.

The more people tried to talk, the more she doubled down. No empathy, no remorse, no kindness.
