Feminism In Marriage Is Rubbish says Pastor Mildred Okonkwo

0

Pastor Mildred Kingsley-Okonkwo has said that that feminism in marriage is rubbish. She added that it’s not God’s idea.

According to the woman of God, a woman can be doing feminism in the office and demanding equal pay when they work  hard, but in marriage there’s only one head.

Pastor Mildred Okonkwo averred that women have the first right of choice in any relationship and should chose right to avoid drinking medicine after death.

She added that the word of God said women should obey and submit to their husbands, and they should obey this.

Pastor Mildred is married to lead pastor of David Christian Centre, Kingsley Okonkwo. She is an associate pastor of the church based in Lagos.

Born Mildred Isioma Chijide to Michael and Patricia Chijide. She is the fifth child of six children.

She was actually the baby of the family for five years till her younger sister came along and displaced her.

Her mother was a teacher and her father a banker and they are both still alive and well and live in Lagos so her kids have very involved and active grandparents.

On her blog, Pastor Mildred Okonkwo wrote:

“Isn’t it funny that when they ask questions like about yourself that you begin to wonder if you can find the right words….

Well, here it goes: I’m a writer, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a mother and a pastor. yep! pastor and a pastor’s wife.

I’m as down-to-earth as they come. You want the truth? I’ll definitely be the one to ask. lol!

I guess I may not be your typical stereotype pastor’s wife but I totally and completely love the lord Jesus Christ.

We’ve been in this love relationship for 29 years now. hmmm… e don tey o!

Anyway I’ll let you unravel the rest as we go along …. so welcome on this journey. mwaaah!!

However, Borrowing from Max Lucado (whom I absolutely adore). In his words…

MILDRED Kingsley-Okonkwo has a blessed calling:

Kingsley Okonkwo calls her honey. Dassah, Davida and David call her mummy.

The people at David’s Christian Centre call her their pastor. Some call her mama.

And God calls her his own.
Not bad, huh.”
