There are facial oils available in the market, which will not only make your skin fairer but also improve the overall quality of your skin.

These oils improve your skin by providing it the right kind of nourishment and this in turn lead to brightening and lightening.

Below are 10 essential oils that will brighten and whiten your skin naturally:

1. Argan Oil

Argan oil or Moroccan oil is also known as Liquid gold because of its appearance.  It is a product of Morocco. This oil can be used for anti aging purposes. You can apply few drops of this oil, massage your face and neck and leave it over night.

Argan oil has anti inflammatory properties and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes. It cleans the skin and arrests melanin growth. It is a skin whitening ingredient that enhances natural glow.

2. Rose Oil


Rose Essential Oil is a complete product in its own. You do not have to add it to another ingredient. Just apply this oil on your face, massage lightly and go off to sleep. 3. Grape Seed Oil

4. Almond Oil

5. Olive Oil 

Olive Oil has Vitamin E, nourishes the skin and gives skin brightening and lightening results. For regular use, use 2tsps of Olive Oil to half a cup of Yogurt and 3 spoons honey and mix well. Apply it on your face once a week for best results.

6. Marula Oil

Marula Oil is found in Africa, and has Oleic Acid, which is required for healthy skin. It hydrates the skin naturally and has anti aging properties. 7. Castor Oil

9. Sandalwood Oil

It can be used as a Toner. Regular usage of Sandalwood Oil is suitable for brightening and whitening of skin and helps in eradicating blemishes and blackheads. It is the ultimate remedy for dry skin. Use it as astringent, oil, face pack, anti inflammatory agent and a skin whitening product. Apply it at night only. Sandalwood Oil also cures rashes, swelling and rashes.

10. Lavender Oil

Lavender or Chameli Oil is best suited for dry and normal skin types. It is good for oily skin whitening. It heals the skin, soothes the nerves and curbs hyper pigmentation. You should apply this oil at night only.

Caution While Using Oils:

  • Do not use oils on your face if your skin is extremely oily.
  • Do not use oils if skin reacts to the application.
  • Oils should preferably used at night. Ensure that you clean your face before apply oil.
  • Do not expose yourself to heat. Or get indulged in any activity which leads to sweating. The ingredients present in most of the oils are extremely delicate and would not be able to withstand heat.
