Women are full of envy and jealousy – Alaafin of Oyo’s estranged wife Queen Ola, says

Adeyemi Olaitan, one of the estranged wives of the Alaafin of Oyo, has said that women are full of envy and jealousy.

The mother of three stated this while reacting to an Instagram post about how men who don’t know one another can gather together and enjoy themselves without rancour.

Current research suggests that yes, women are more likely to display certain types of jealousy than men.

In a population-based twin study, Swedish researchers found that women were more likely to display jealousy than men when confronted with emotional or sexual infidelity.

Envy develops when individuals compare themselves to others and find themselves to be inferior. This process is a natural one, although comparing the self with others may lead to the development of envy and other emotions that can cause pain. Envy results from internal factors rather than external ones.

Envy is another term for being unhappy. This is when envy can take over your mind. It becomes a powerful virus that kills our confidence and self worth. Additionally, envy means you’re stuck in a rut and must dig yourself out of it.

Envy causes feelings of inferiority, longing, resentment and, sometimes, guilt or shame about feeling envious. Jealousy typically involves feelings of distrust, fear of loss and abandonment, anxiety and anger.

Ladies, what you forget to realize is that the woman whose life you are longing for is just another woman who is longing for something else.

She would trade her long legs for your high cheekbones. She would give her beautiful blonde locks for your curves. She would give her model height for a boy who didn’t cheat on her. No woman in this world is perfect.

You should never be jealous of a woman with a better career, you should be inspired by her. Use her status, her position, everything she has that you want as a daily inspiration for your own efforts. Work until she is no longer your idol, but your equal.
