Atang started the Uyo church in 2006 and usually held a ‘Singles Frank Talk’program that gathered about 8000 youths onsite and online, monthly.

He has authored several books including “Understanding Sex” and “Lord, am still single, why?”

George Essien, a Facebook user mourned the departed Reverend by posting a tribute in his honour on his page. He wrote:

“Can’t tell my story without You in the story.

I remember how I walked into your office in 2006 as an unsure and wannabe Motivational Speaker.

You gave me my first big platform to speak to over 1500 students in UNIBEN in 2006 and in several Singles Frank Talk in 2007.

You called me a World Class Speaker when you allowed me speak at Making It In Nigeria Summit hosted by your church in 2007.

My wife and I still attend your Fresh Wine For Couples Classic Every First Saturday Of The Month.

We were there Earlier This Month. And listened to you and your insights and humour.

I took notes every time you taught.

I laughed at your many jokes.

Everything I have ever known about Relationship and Marriage, I learnt from you.

Thank you.

Rev. Ezekiel Atang.”
