Pregnant Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas match in Louis Vuitton at Met Gala 2022
Pregnant Sophie Turner arrived at the Met Gala in style and flaunted her baby bump alongside husband Joe Jonas.
This year’s theme, “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” is all about gilded glamor, which the Queen of the North seemed to know all about.
The pair, who are expecting their second child, wore black and white Louis Vuitton on the Met Gala 2022 red carpet. Sophie wore a floor-length, embellished black gown complete with a pair of black platform sandals.
The “Game of Thrones” actress wore her famous red hair in sleek waves and completed the look with a bright red lip.
Joe matched perfectly in a white tux with a long lace coattail finished with a couple of chain necklaces.
This is the first time either star has attended the Met Gala since they made their red carpet debut as newlyweds there back in 2019. Even then, the pair opted for a colorful, matching Louis Vuitton look for the camp-themed event.
Prior to fashion’s biggest night, the couple has kept a relatively low profile after announcing their second pregnancy back in March.
Jonas, 32, and Turner, 26, are already parents to 1-year-old Willa and have been dating since 2016.
Sophie Belinda Jonas is an English actress. She made her acting debut as Sansa Stark on the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas began dating in 2016, after being introduced by mutual friends. In 2017, Joe proposed to Sophie with a $150,000 diamond ring. The couple tied the knot during a surprise Las Vegas ceremony after the 2019 Billboard Music Awards—and thanks to Instagram live, fans saw the whole thing!
In July 2020, Turner gave birth to a daughter named Willa Jonas. Sophie Turner is expecting their second child in 2022.
Turner was the inspiration behind the song, “Hesitate”, which was written as a love letter to her by Jonas, for the Jonas Brothers reunion album, Happiness Begins.
Turner has been open about her struggles with depression and the benefits of therapy and medication.
