A former Big Brother Naija contestant and actress, Bamike Adenibuyan, aka BamBam, has said her marriage to another former contestant in BBN, Teddy A, was ordained by God.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, BamBam noted that she cannot relate with celebs whose marriages have crashed.

She said, “I cannot relate. I don’t know what happens in another person’s yard but in my yard, it is mandatory (for my marriage to work).

I have two daughters, and I cannot afford to fail them, except God says otherwise. It is God’s will for me to be in this marriage, and He is enabling us work it out, no matter what.”

Asked if she enjoyed the support of her parents when she started acting, she said, “No, I did not (enjoy their support). They felt what I was doing was stupid; they said, ‘let life teach me a lesson’. But, when I participated in BBN and came out, I think the fact that I succeeded and I’m still succeeding is what got me some form of parental support.”

The actress expressed her gratitude for the Big Brother platform, noting that it was an opportunity she did not take for granted. She said, “It was a great opportunity for me and I don’t take it for granted.”

BamBam wanted a career in Nollywood and attended Royal Arts Academy in 2017. She has also been featured in some films like The Gift and The Foreigner’s God.

She is from a religious home and had led a conservative lifestyle before she became famous. She said her parents were disappointed that she was caught on camera having sex with Teddy A at the BBN house but they were still proud of her.
