I hope Bimbo’s death is an encouragement to save yourself says ex-beauty queen, Iheoma Nnadi
Former Beauty Queen, Iheoma Nnadi, has advised women to walk away from abusive marriages and choose to love themselves first.
Iheoma stated this on Saturday October 15, while reacting to the death of IVD wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, due to alleged domestic violence.
Iheoma said Bimbo’s death should be an encouragement for women in abusive relationships to save themselves from the same fate.
Iheoma Nnadi wrote:
“I can’t believe it truly ended in this even though it was so glaring it would eventually end in death.
I pray for your family and especially your kids Bimbo.
May God wrap you around his arms and comfort you for the years of pain, unease, battering and sorrow.
Is it not better to be in a place where you are loved and cared for than to be in a place where you are constantly be@ten, b@ttered or ins*lted?
This self love thing is not being talked about enough. SELF LOVE will save you from taking a lot of ill treatment.
Learn to understand and know when your partner does not love you anymore.
Learn to know when to take your L in peace and move on for true happiness to reign again.
I hope this will be a learning point for people who are currently in this situation and have refused to leave!
For those who have refused to stand up and say enough is enough.. have refused to love themselves first.
I hope this is an encouragement and a push for you to finally stand up and save yourself.
God loves you, you kids love you and your friends and family need you alive.”
It is sad that with all the preaching flying around on different social media platforms about self love, some women in abusive marriages won’t leave their abusers.
