“The only achievement in marriage are children. Nothing special” – Actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday reveals

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has said that the only achievement in marriage is children while reacting to the death of Bimbo, wife of popular car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna.

Recall that Bimbo had been in ICU after suffering severe burns during a violent fight with her husband in their home in Lagos on Wednesday, October 12, before she passed away on Saturday morning.

Nkechi Blessing Sunday said: “They say marriage is the greatest achievement but many don’t get out alive. Hmmm. Loss for words.”

Responding to a follower who asked her what the achievement in marriage was, she revealed that: “The only achievement there is children, nothing special if you ask me. If marriage no work again carry your marital award (children) and leave to LIVE.”

Sources claimed Bimbo confronted her husband IVD on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, over the constant b€atings she receives, and a fight ensued.

The fight resulted in their house being set ablaze. IVD was said to have escaped with minor b#rns while Bimbo suffered severe b#rns and was rushed to the intensive care unit of a Lagos Hospital.

Abimbola Ogbonna was a victim of domestic violence. Her demise comes after many years of physical abuse which she allegedly suffered from her husband and the father of her children.

Sadly, on Saturday morning, news filtered in that she succumbed to her injuries after suffering a cardiac arrest. She left behind her mother, siblings and five children.

In May 2019, Abimbola Ogbonna regained consciousness after she was allegedly be@ten to a coma by her husband during pregnancy. She was 8 months pregnant at that time.

While family and friends mourn the young woman, more details are emerging about what happened to her that fateful day. Her friends insist that she didn’t do that to herself and that her husband, who absconded since Wednesday should be held responsible for her death.
