Super TV CEO’s mu:rder: Chidinma makes U-turn, denies k#lling Usifo Ataga

Chidinma Ojukwu, the prime suspect in the murder of Super TV CEO, Michael Ataga, has denied killing the deceased in a confessional video that was played before a Lagos State High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square on Tuesday, October 18.

In the video that was played before Justice Yetunde Adesanya, Chidinma Ojukwu backtracked on her previous confession of k#lling Ataga.

According to her, she didn’t know who k#lled the deceased as she stepped out on the day of the incident and by the time she got back, she saw Ataga on the floor de@d.

She claimed that she quickly left the scene because she was scared. “I don’t know who entered. I just picked my things and left because I was scared,” she said.

This was contrary to her confession at the last proceeding, on October 11, 2022, when the video recording showing Ataga’s lifeless body was first played.

Chidinma Ojukwu had said in the video that she k#lled the deceased on her own.

Her words, “There was nobody that assisted me; I did it alone.”

When a member of the team that interrogated her asked why she said the bl**d stains on her clothes were her p€riod, she insisted that she didn’t k+ll Ataga.

“I don’t know who came in after I left the room, when I came back I saw him bleeding, I had to leave because I was scared, I did not k!ll him, I don’t know who k*lled him.” She said.

When asked why she ordered for ‘Loud’ and Rophynol, the defendant responded that it was the deceased that ordered them and that she doesn’t know where he ordered them from.

The defendant was also asked why she took the deceased’s two iPhones and Mac Laptop, and she replied claiming they were her belongings so she picked them and left because she was scared.
