Happy couple perform their traditional marriage rites amidst flooding in Delta state

A happy couple, identified as Asiayei Enaibo and Emily Ekanpou, performed their traditional marriage rites despite the heavy flood in their community in Delta state.

The couple tied the knot traditionally on Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Ayakoromo, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta state, defying the flood currently ravaging the community.

Photos from the unconventional wedding ceremony have been shared online and the couple didn’t let the flooding situation dampen their joy as they were all smiles during the ceremony.

In the photos, the couple and their guests took a boat ride to an elevated platform where they held the ceremony.

In a related news, a single Nigerian lady who was given a vision of how her future husband looks like is in serious dilemma as none of the serious suitors who are seeking her hand in marriage matches the man mentioned in her pastor’s prophecy.

According to the young lady, her pastor had given a description of her future spouse as revealed to him by God.

However, all the men that have been approaching her for marriage bear no resemblance to the man her pastor described.

She acknowledged that all the men who have been approaching her to ask for her hand in marriage appear sincere and responsible, but her only concern is that they don’t match the prophecy given to her.
