“You were murdered in cold bl00d” — Bimbo Ogbonna’s sister remembers her one month after her death
Mama Jazz, the elder sister of late Bimbo Ogbonna, has taken to social media to mourn her one month after her passing.
Recall that Bimbo, the late wife of popular Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, died after she was incinerated during a domestic fight with her husband in October.
Even though the circumstances surrounding her death are controversial, her relatives have made several claims and accusations that IVD was the one who pushed her into the flames and was directly responsible for her death.
The late Bimbo Ogbonna’s elder sister who is known as Mama Jazz on Instagram took to her Instagram page to mourn her demise one month after the tragedy.
She insists that the mother of five was ‘murdered in cold blood’ and that ‘justice must be served’.
Mama Jazz shared a photo of Bimbo and wrote:
“My baby, my Bobby, Bimz it’s been a month you were murdered in cold blood.
If only we could turn back the hands of time.
It’s so hard to accept the fact that you aren’t here anymore Abimbola, no one calls me MUMMY J anymore.
Not a day goes by that you don’t cross my mind.
The day you were born, I became a sister. The day you died, you became my guardian angel.
Keep watching over us ABIMBOLA
Justice will be served.”
Last month, it was reported that the Nigerian police arrested IVD following the incineration and death of his wife, Bimbo but insider reports reveal that this is not true.
IVD who was accused of physically abusing her throughout the duration of their marriage and allegedly shot her sometime this year while they had a misunderstanding was claimed to have been taken in by the police.
The Public relations officer of the police force, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, took to his Twitter account to announce that IVD whom his family claimed to be on the run, was already in custody of the law.
A source close to the family told feminine.com.ng that Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD is in a rehabilitation centre for drug addicts while their children are with his late wife’s family.
