Hollywood actress Kate Hudson has spoken out about being a mother to her three children who have three different fathers.
During a recent interview with ‘This Morning’ on their Wednesday episode, she spoke about not making any plans for her wedding to her fiance Danny Fujikawa.
Apparently, the duo got engaged over a year ago, after four years of dating.
Referring to her large family, the 43-year-old actress joked that it is “not really a golden ticket” as she admitted to “going back and forth” with her decision for a huge celebratory wedding.
CHRIS ROBINSON
On December 31, 2000, Hudson married musician Chris Robinson in Aspen, Colorado, and their son Ryder Russell Robinson was born in January 2004. Citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, Robinson, the frontman of the Black Crowes, filed divorce papers on November 28, 2006. With the actress granted joint custody, the divorce was finalized on October 22, 2007.
MATT BELLAMY
After her divorce in 2007, the ‘Killer Inside Me’ actress began dating Matt Bellamy, the Muse vocalist, in early 2010.
In April 2011, the pair became engaged and their son Bingham “Bing” Hawn Bellamy was born in July 2011. On December 9, 2014, Hudson and Bellamy made their announcement of ending their engagement and said that they are co-parenting their son.
DANNY FUJIKAWA
A record company co-owner and musician Danny Fujikawa and Hudson began dating in December 2016. The actress met through his stepsisters Sara Foster and Erin Foster, who are Hudson’s best friends.
The actress announced the birth of their daughter Rose Hudson Fujikawa on October 2, 2018, whom the couple named after his grandfather, Ron Fujikawa.
Referring to her co-parenting arrangements with the three men, Hudson stated in November 2022 in an interview with The Sunday Times, “It might not look traditional from the outside, but on the inside, I feel like we’re killing it. The unit that I’ve created with three children with three different fathers is a seriously strong unit, and it’s ours.”
During the interview with ‘This Morning’, the ‘Raising Helen’ star confessed, “It’s been a while now, I just haven’t planned the wedding. I don’t even know where I am right now – I’m kidding. I go back and forth, I go ”do I really want a big wedding?’ We’re so happy – it’s not the first thing I need ” when she was asked about her plans for her wedding to Fujikawa.
