My fiancé doesn’t like men sitting beside me in commercial vehicles – Lady laments about her man’s behaviour
A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to seek advice about her fiancé, whom she claims is jealous and overprotective.
The lady who is set to tie the knot with the young man said he’s kind and has all the qualities she seeks in a man, but he’s excessively jealous and overprotective.
She said he usually makes a scene in commercial vehicles when another man attempts to sit next to her or gets too close.
According to her, she’s tired and needs advice on how to handle the situation.
“Hello good evening everyone, please how will I handle a situation where a guy is jealous and overprotective over his girl. I have a fiancé. We are planning to get married. He is kind, loving, he got everything I need in a man but my problem with him is that he is overprotective and jealous to extent if am in car, napep or any vehicle he will like to know someone seated beside me.
If it’s a man he will be disturbing the man to adjust let his body not touch me. He will be requesting for a woman to sit close to me instead of a man causing quarrel or laughter in the vehicle. I am just tired. I don’t know what to do.” She wrote on Facebook.
Being jealous in a romantic relationship can destroy the love you and your partner have for each other. At first it might seem cute that your SO is evoking the emotion, but after awhile, you will ll probably see the negative aspects of it clearly.
Overall, being in a relationship with a jealous partner shouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker. Some people have trust issues due to past relationships or breakups, and it’s often possible to work through these problems together if both partners are committed to trying.
For starters, it’s best to figure out why your partner is feeling jealous in the first place, especially if you have’t given them a reason to mistrust you.
But if you feel like your partner’s jealousy needs to be tamed only a little bit, you might want to try to work together with him or her to fix the issue. While it might give them the reassurance that there’s no need to carry that emotion around in the relationship, it can also create a closer bond between the both of you.
