John Travolta has taken ‘a vow of celibacy’ after Kelly Preston’s death as she ‘will always be the woman for him’

John Travolta has reportedly not gotten over wife Kelly Preston’s death, who died in July 2020 after years of battle with breast cancer.

Sources have said that the actor would never date or be in a relationship with any other woman again after losing his wife of almost two decades.

Citing a source, RadarOnline.com said, “John still considers himself married and says he will stay loyal to Kelly until the day he dies. He talks about Kelly constantly. Their lives were so intertwined, it’s very hard for him to go on.”

‘Kelly will always be the only woman for him’

The insider also continued that “it’s hands off when it comes to dating. As far as he is concerned, Kelly will always be the only woman for him. It’s sad, but he’s essentially taken a vow of celibacy for the rest of his life. He simply can’t wrap his head around ever falling in love again. He says it would be a betrayal of Kelly’s memory.”

John’s focus is on his children now

According to the tipster, “The kids are everything to him. If it weren’t for them, it’s hard to know what he’d do.” However, it’s not just Kelly, who left him heartbroken, their son Jett’s death is still making him sad, another source claimed.

The insider shared that the ‘Saturday Night Fever’ star “has never stopped mourning Jett and now that he’s lost Kelly, it’s brought all that pain to the surface again. He talks about wanting to be reunited with them in the next lifetime.”

John Travolta lost Jett in 2009 and in April last year, Travolta wrote on Instagram, “My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can say. I think about you every day. Happy Birthday. Love, your Dad.”
