Dancer, Korra Obidi buys $1.6M house in the US
Popular Nigerian singer and dancer, Korra Obidi has acquired a 1.6 million dollar home in Brentwood, Los Angeles.
The mother of two announced this on her Instagram page on Thursday March 30.
She shared a video which captures the moment she visited the agents to sign the house deeds with her mother who also expressed happiness for her.
Obidi thanked God for making it possible for her to acquire a new house despite the stigma and criticism she had had to experience following the divorce with her American husband, Justin Dean.
She captioned the video, “Small Nyash, Big God. The n@ked divorced disgrace don buy house. Thank God say man no be God. We did it @korraverse_ Grateful to my family and friends. This is for you @junedean_ @athenadean_
Landlady of a $1,600,000 home, Brentwood Los Angeles.
Last week, Korra Obidi lamented about the constant harsh criticism and backlash she receives on her social media platforms.
The mother of two, who has been repeatedly trolled for her choice of outfit and the type of content she posts, admitted in a video she shared online that it is affecting her mental health.
She added that to curb the menace, she would be imposing restrictions on her live videos.
Declaring that she’s not anyone’s cyber punching bag, Korra added that for the next week, her live videos would be exclusive to subscribers only, and non-subscribers wouldn’t be able to see or engage with her videos.
Korra Obidi revealed that, to protect her mental health, only her staunch supporters who have subscribed to her social media channels will be able to join her live session.
The dancer reasoned that engaging with subscribers alone would reduce the negative comments she gets from social media users.
“I am not your cyber punching bag. Subscribers only Live videos from now on”, she wrote on Facebook.
