“As long as my cheating partner still loves me, I’m okay” – BBNaija’s Doyin David

Reality TV star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin, has revealed that as long as her cheating partner still loves her, she is okay with it.

She shared her opinion while speaking on her podcast, “Doyin’s Corner,” with her colleagues, Beauty and Modella.

According to Doyin, she does not define loyalty as the act of being faithful because she believes that if her person cheats it doesn’t mean they do not love their partner.

In her words;

“My partner can love me but still cheat on me. But I don’t think that because he has cheated, he doesn’t love me. For me, my definition of loyalty is not, don’t cheat me. I’m just trying to be realistic in my relationship. For me, I will say I want a partner that he will tell me, babe, I’m travelling for six months, I can not promise you that I will be loyal for six months.”

She was opposed by Beauty and Modella, who believed that partnerships made the most sense when one man and one woman are involved.

Infidelity does not mean that the love is gone or never existed. The reality is that you can love someone and still cheat on them. In fact, many affairs happen in relationships that are otherwise very happy.

A simple desire to have s€x can motivate some people to cheat. Other factors, including opportunity or unmet s€xual needs, may also play a part in infidelity that’s motivated by desire. But someone who wants to have sex might also look for opportunities to do so without any other motivators.

Does a happy man cheat? Yes, he most certainly does but not because of a lack of satisfaction. Most of the time, it’s tied with their ego. As most people have figured out, selfishness is often the driving factor for men to have an affair.

While every relationship is unique, generally speaking, you should never stay with a man who cheats. Not only is the act a violation of trust, but tolerating infidelity can invite more bad behavior.
