A woman identified as Deborah Grattan made a Facebook post on November 1, 2013, revealing a dream about an “evil billionaire” who started doing submarine trips down to the Titanic.
She narrated years ago that he pumped water out of parts of the ship, but the trip turned into a disaster on its maiden outing. She added that it would make a good movie.
“Had a weird dream that an evil billionaire started doing submarine trips down to titanic and somehow pumped water out of parts of it but then it turned to disaster on its maiden outing..prob make a good movie….” she wrote.
Yesterday, the “Titan,” a submersible operated by OceanGate Expeditions, suffered a catastrophic loss of pressure that led to the implosion of the vessel, killing all five passengers on board, according to the US Coast Guard.
Deborah Grattan’s post has since gone viral on social media, with many people pointing out the eerie similarities between her dream and the recent tragedy.
Some have even suggested that the post was a premonition of the disaster.
The incident has once again raised questions about the safety of submarine trips and the need for stricter regulations.
It was reported that the five billionaires onboard the submersible perished after running out of oxygen for hours.
