Ex-BBNaija star, Doyinsola Anuoluwapo David, popularly known as Doyin expresses her opinion on the controversial take on ab0rtion.
While identifying herself as a pro-choice advocate, the former reality star opined that a pregnant woman should have the right to decide whether or not to have an abortion if she does not wish to carry a baby to term.
During a recent episode of her podcast, titled Doyin’s Corner, she stated that she does not consider abortion to be murder when the termination of pregnancy occurs before the embryo develops into a fetus.
In her words;
“I will say I’m pro-choice first of all. Because there are certain circumstances or situations that people find themselves in, it’s not easy to keep the baby.
“Sometimes, it’s not even based on the fact that it’s not easy to keep the baby, it is even health complications like ectopic pregnancy for example sometimes they had to take it out. Or situations where someone gets raped for example and they had to take it out. So, in that kind of situations, it’s very different.”
Also on the show, she had the BBTitans season one winner, Khosi Twala who shared a similar opinion on ab0rtion.
In April, Doyin, revealed that she is okay with a cheating partner as long as he still loves her.
She made the controversial statement in an episode of her podcast, Doyin’s Corner which featured Beauty Tukura and Modella as guests.
She said, “My partner can love me but still cheat on me. But I don’t think that because he has cheated, he doesn’t love me. For me, my definition of loyalty is not, don’t cheat me.
“I’m just trying to be realistic in my relationship. For me, I will say I want a partner that he will tell me, babe, I’m travelling for six months, I cannot promise you that I will be loyal for six months.”
