Rick Ross Reconsidering Marriage After Jada Pinkett Smith’s Recent Comments

Jada Pinkett Smith’s recent comments about her marriage to Will Smith have been a conversation topic for many people.

Rick Ross recently stated that their marriage struggles have him reconsidering the idea of marriage for himself.

“At one time, we thought Will Smith and Jada was Shaq and Kobe,” Rozay said on his Instagram story on Wednesday (Oct. 18), cleverly referencing his latest single with Meek Mill. “Just on some red carpet, ‘Let’s get this money’ type sh*t. But how Jada Pinkett Smith moving, it don’t make you wanna really be that close with a woman.”

The MMG leader was especially taken aback by the fact they didn’t sign a prenup given the difference in their net worths. “It done really make you reconsider ever being married,” Ross continued. “Damn, baby. You talking about so much personal business. What’s your credit score? What’s your beacon score? We don’t believe you was worth $50 million.”

Rick Ross was intent on Jada Pinkett Smith proving what she brought to the table. “Nah, show it to us,” he said. “Prove it to us. We don’t believe this sh*t. Now show us. Show us. Will, go home, Will. They called me Will growing up. Come on, Will. Make her go open you a Moon Pie.”

This stems from the actress’ conversation with Parade last Friday (Oct. 13), where she addressed her and Will Smith not signing a prenup. “Listen, weddings are beautiful, but they can be very romanticized,” she said.

“I feel that was a very real moment for the two of us to look each other in the eyes, recognize that there would be tough times in this journey. And to say to each other, ‘No matter what, we’re going to figure it out and that’s why we don’t need a prenup, because I’m making a promise that divorce won’t be necessary, that we will figure this out.’”

The two circumvented all of the pageantry and made that commitment to one another in an intimate moment. “And we made that promise to each other without all of the bridal wedding beauty,” Jada continued.

She also added; “It was just sitting on a log in his mother’s backyard, and going, ‘Hey.’ Having to really look at the possibility of us not being together.”
