“If you have to call your man before you visit his house you are dating yourself” — Anita Joseph

Nigerian actress, Anita Joseph has advised her friend and other Nigerian ladies that calling your man before visiting his house means you are alone in the relationship.

She made this public on her Instagram page, where she narrated how her friend was dumped because she didn’t call her boyfriend before visiting him.

According to the ex-boyfriend, the friend was invading his privacy by her actions and he could not take that so he ended their relationship.

However, Anita Joseph belongs to a different school of thought and believes it is quite alright to not call before visiting a man you are in a relationship with.

Infact she believes that if you have to call, then the relationship is not genuine.

Anita Joseph said;

It is a huge turn on knowing that you can visit someone you truly love at any time without restrictions.

However, there are exception to this. Sometimes, people crave for their space and personal boundaries, not necessarily because they are cheating, but because they may want a time alone to do their stuff.

If not that there are lack of trust these days, as a result of high rate of infidelity, I don’t see anything wrong with informing your partner before visiting. It is a sign of respect.

Even as a lady, it induces respect from the man. Showing up every now and then, and choking him up with your constant availability can make him lose respect and interest easily. Soon, he may start avoiding you.

There’s need to strike a balance so you wouldn’t come off as desperate.”
