Ariana Grande Is Officially Divorced & Her Ex-Husband Dalton Gomez Will Get $1.25M
Ariana Grande has been moving single since last summer, but a judge finally cemented that status this week!
According to TMZ, the pop singer’s divorce from Dalton Gomez was finalized on Tuesday (March 19).
To be clear, though, the pair have been exes for a hot minute now. They were only waiting on the judge’s ink to touch the papers. Last October, TMZ reported that Ariana Grande and Dalton had settled within weeks of officially filing the divorce petition in September.
Everything Dalton Gomez Got From Ariana Grande In Their Divorce
For context, Ariana and Dalton first linked up in February 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, per PEOPLE.
In March of that year, the same outlet confirmed their romantic relationship. By December 2020, the pair had gotten engaged. Several months later, in May 2021, they married at their Montecito, California home.
Less than two years into the marriage, their marriage hit some bumps as the world started opening back up. Their divorce petition lists their official separation date as Feb. 20, 2023.
Multiple outlets have reported that their split was amicable, though. That’s likely and partially due to the prenup the former couple had in place. Ariana ultimately had to cut Dalton Gomez a check for $1,250,000. And guess what? That lump sum was reportedly tax-free! But given that it was an upfront payment, Dalton won’t be getting any spousal support.
However, he will cash in on half the profits from selling their Los Angeles home. She also graciously agreed to float him $25,000 for his divorce lawyer fees.
Ariana Grande is rumored to be dating Ethan Slater after several sightings together. TMZ reported in December 2023 that they had moved in together.
And for anyone chit-chatting about her dating life decisions. Grande dropped a clap back in January with her track, ‘Yes And?’ Period, sis!
