No matter how rich your husband is, you need to make your own money
No matter how rich your husband is, if you don’t empower yourself you are on a long thing.
Things years of being redundant did to me, I don’t wish it on anyone.
I didn’t have 50 naira to my name, yet I drove big cars, wore nice clothes, and travelled to wherever I liked.
I know you will ask why didn’t you do something with the money?
That’s why they say HIS money is not MY money neither is it OUR money.
Your money is yours, you can access it whenever you like and do whatever you want with it.
Is it not money you have access to that you invest?
That is how they camouflage abuse for you in the name of comfort, before you know it all your hair is grey and you have no achievements to your credit.
Looks they say is very deceptive, you see your fellow women changing cars, buying Brazilian hair, wearing clothes that are in vogue and you so wish to meet up to their standard yet you don’t move a limb, you are on a long thing.
What if that rich man drops dead today? What becomes of you? What becomes of your innocent kids? After the whole na my brother property, she killed her husband wahala, how do you intend to carry on with your life?
Be empowered, stand up for yourself, be your own boss, no man will maltreat you when you bring productivity, support to the table (except those ones that the devil have kidnapped their destiny).
May common sense fall on those ones. The reason most women endure abuse is because they are financially handicapped.
Woman, you need your own money no matter how rich your husband is. Your money and financial empowerment is your power. Don’t trade it for staying idle.

Oooooh! Didn’t I said so before, that no matter how rich you think your husband is, that a woman need to be handy? Instead of becoming an handicap overnight, sust your ass and get handy instead and you will be proud you did.
There’s more to life than just being a wife and mother. As a woman created in the image and likeness of God, you have a purpose to fulfilling which can be given expression in your career and business. You can’t afford to fail God and humanity, get up and do something for yourself.

Aside separation or divorce, death of spouse could leave a financially dependent woman devastated!
As a young wife and mother, this is a thought that keep me awake most times.
We as women must know that making our money is not a weapon of disrespect to use against the man, it is a tool to help us stand firm in stormy weathers.
Thank you babe. Being financially empowered is not for disrespect but for planning out our lives as women. Thank you.
