A Nigerian clergywoman, Pastor Eno Jerry, has said that the role of any woman in a man’s life is to help in increase his wealth.
Speaking during a sermon recently, Pastor Eno averred that the least a man should ever be in life should be the way a woman met him. According to her, a woman’s presence should increase a man.
Pastor Eno Jerry said:
”When a woman enters the home of a man, her role is to increase his wealth. It’s a foolish one that lessens his wealth.
A foolish woman lessens his wealth but a wise woman builds the wealth of her husband through wisdom.
So any man you meet, any man you enter into his life, even if you are in a relationship, the least he can ever be is the least you met him.”
Why do religious people put the responsibility of marriage, family wealth, men’s success and fidelity on women?
Why should a woman be held responsible for increasing a man’s wealth when the man is an adult who makes his own decisions?
What happens if the man is lazy and doesn’t work hard and smart to improve his finances? Should his wife be held responsible when his wealth doesn’t increase?
What about men who believe that women have nothing to offer and refuse to listen to their wives advice regarding how to increase the family finance?
Should these women also be called foolish and held responsible for their husband’s wealth not increasing?
What about the women themselves? We’re they created to do nothing for themselves except help men achieve their destinies and to help their husbands increase their wealth?
Is being wealthy gender selective? Do these women have no plans for their lives that their role should be helping their husbands increase their wealth?
