Carrie Underwood Totally Shut Down ‘The Tonight Show’ in Short Shorts with Chains

The one and only Carrie Underwood has done it once again! She stopped by Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show to perform a tune that deserves a spot on every single summer playlist you’ve got.

The “Cowboy Casanova” singer was accompanied by a live band to perform “Pink Champagne” from her latest album Denim & Rhinestones, and as always, the country queen did not disappoint.

With a vibrant backdrop that made it look as if Carrie was performing in a pink champagne bottle, she shared a snippet of the show to Instagram where fans went wild for her outfit.

The eight-time Grammy winning artist stayed true to her new era in music by rocking her signature denim and rhinestones combo (and yes, that includes a bedazzled microphone!).

To no one’s surprise, the singer rocked daisy duke denim shorts complete with layered chains — a style that’s quickly growing on us. On top, Carrie wore a long sleeve blouse designed with sheer, bedazzled sleeves and fringe. Of course, those famous toned legs were on full display.

Fans reacted to the special performance in the comment section of Carrie’s post and the verdict is unanimous — people are loving this new era in her career! “I love this song 💕🥂” and “I love this album!! 💕🥂🍾”, said some fans.

Another person said, “As a fan I feel this is also the album Carrie has always been wanting to make and you can see and hear that. 💜💎”

In honor of her new album, the 39-year-old is gearing up to treat fans to a 43-date tour that kicks off in October.
