Nigerian socialites, Kayode Christiana better known as Berbie doll, and Tasha Amos, have debunked claims that they had an affair and contracted HIV from Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD.
This comes after an alleged report surfaced online claiming both women who are also influencers are part of the Lekki big babes IVD cheated on his late wife, Bimbo, with.
Bimbo Ogbonna passed away over the weekend from the burn injuries she sustained during a domestic f#ght with her husband Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD who reportedly be@t her up at the slightest provocation throughout their years of marriage.
Following her death, an old video where Bimbo claimed her husband was HIV positive was shared online, and it was also alleged that IVD is a serial cheat.
After the popular car dealer’s HIV status became known to the public, a report naming some of the ladies IVD allegedly had an affair with and infected with HIV surfaced online.
Instagram influencers, Berbie Doll, Tasha Amos, and one Nelly, were accused of sleeping with IVD and were alleged to have been infected with the virus too.
Reacting to the allegation, Berbie Doll and Tasha Amos have cleared their names, and even went as far as sharing their HIV test result to further refute the rumour.
Mercy Eke, the winner of the 2019 BBNaija reality TV show, also addressed the rumours that she is having an affair with IVD, the celebrity car dealer on Saturday.
Reacting to the allegations in an Instagram live session on Saturday, Mercy Eke said that she only had a business relationship with IVD.
The reality star said she bought a faulty Range Rover car from IVD in September 2020 and thereafter demanded that he “give me something equivalent to my car”.
She said that the late Bimbo Ogbonna was aware that the car transaction was the “only connection I have ever had with IVD”.
A teary Mercy Eke also hurled ins√lts at the blogger who circulated the allegation.
“I want to clear something. And I’m only doing this for the sake of the dead, for the sake of Bimbo, that’s why I’m doing this,” she said in the video.
