On Tuesday, Guinness World Records had finally confirmed Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon individual category.

This was announced on Twitter.

“Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes,” GWR said in a statement released on Tuesday, one month after Baci’s adventurous cooking.

However, because of problems with her resting hours, Hilda’s record time was reduced.

Her record time is currently 93 hours and 11 minutes, as opposed to the 100 hours she cooked for.

Hilda Baci broke down in tears following Guinness World Record confirmation.

In videos posted on her Instagram story, the Guinness World Record holder could be seen breaking down in tears inside her car.

Hilda Baci was seen reading the news on her phone, as she wept uncontrollably and gave thanks to God.
