As you go through life, you must create new alliances
As you go through life, you must create new alliances and friendships. You cannot become great all by yourself. You need people to support you.
No matter how much you have been hurt in the past, open your heart to new friendships that will nourish you on your journey. This is one lesson life has taught me over and over again.
I haven’t given up on cultivating good relationships with the new people I meet because of past hurts. I don’t judge the people I meet on my journey because of what some people did to me in the past.
Friends are important in life. It has been proven that friendships can extend your life expectancy and lower chances of heart disease. Friendship helps humans survive.
Friendship ignites the part of the brain that makes us feel good, which makes us want to keep hanging out with our friends. That is why it hurts so much when friends hurt you.
Do you really need friends in life? You cannot live in isolation. You need to interact with other people even though it is not compulsory that these relationships grow more than basically connecting with other people.
It is nice to have strong social relationships even though some people might appear to be who they are not and hurt you.
You need to move on from these hurts so that you don’t stay stuck in your pain and hinder yourself from enjoying beautiful friendships afterwards with the people you will meet later.
I know it is hard to trust again after experiencing the pain of betrayal with some people but you have move forward. Your past should remain in the past. Face your future with a clean heart and optimism.
When you are not open to joining forces with individuals of like minds, you hinder yourself from enjoying beautiful relationships that will help you get to where you want to be.
Dare to love again. Dare to trust again. Dare to step out of your shell again. Dare to tear down the walls you have put up to stop yourself from being hurt again.
Live well. Live free. Live in love.
