Many marriages are in shambles, because private lives of couples are made public says Reno Omokri.

According to him, the fact that your husband or wife doesn’t post your pictures on social media doesn’t mean they don’t love you. He noted that valuable things are not frequently exposed to the public.

He admonished couples to avoid marital trauma by not exposing their marriages to social media drama.

Reno Omokri wrote:

“That your husband, wife does not post about you on social media does not mean they don’t love you. Love is not expressed on social media. Relationships last longer when you keep them offline. Valuable things are not frequently exposed to the public.

You don’t have to tell social media you love your wife or your husband for it to be true. It is your wife or husband you should tell. Many marriages have trauma because of social media drama. Social media can be shallow. Don’t let it swallow you!

Does social media ruin relationships? Some people claim it does but I don’t believe so. The fact that your marriage is kept away from social media doesn’t mean you are happy. It doesn’t also mean your marriage is blissful.

While posting about your relationship or marriage on social media may not destroy what you have built with your partner, it could lead to distance in the relationship, infidelity, or even addictions to social media.

If you are in a serious relationship, don’t replace face to face communication with social media communication. No amount of virtual communication can make up for the real thing.

While social media might not ruin marriages directly, it can create problems if you and your partner lean on these alternative modes of communication or by comparing your marriage to that of your online friends.

Why does social media destroy relationships?

Constantly being on social media damages some marriages as couples spend time looking at other people’s posts and photos of their lives, instead of spending time with their own families. Then they wonder why their family life isn’t as perfect as their friends lives as they see it on social media.
