Actress Damilola Adegbite comes for single mothers who deprive their children of fatherly love
Nollywood actress Damilola Adegbite has advised single mothers not to deprive their children of fatherly love by deliberately keeping them away from their fathers.
Damilola Adegbite wrote:
There are 3 categories of single mothers:
The ones whose children’s fathers cannot be in their life (E.g Dead, incarcerated etc)
The ones whose children’s fathers have abandoned them or who do more harm than good being a part of their lives (E.g Cases of domestic violence) 6
And then lastly, the ones who intentionally keep their children/ child away from their father because they are angry, bitter,hurt and vengeful.
To “category 3” mums, today is a good day to reassess the situation.
There are many awesome fathers who genuinely crave to be in their children’s lives but are not allowed to by their moms.
Trust me, I understand how you feel. Please soften your heart towards them and make decisions based on what’s best for your child.
They won’t be babies forever and you will not always be able to keep them separated from their father.
May our children not grow up and blame us or despise us for depriving them of their fathers love.

Damilola Adegbite was born on May 18, 1985. She is a Nigerian actress, entrepreneur, model and television personality.
While in Queen’s College Yaba, Adegbite served as the Vice President of the school dramatic society between 2001 and 2002. Also, from teen age, she was part of her church drama group.
She came to limelight after her debut in Tinsel, MNET’s Production where she played Telema Duke (2008-2012).
Following Tinsel, she starred in blockbuster movies like 6 Days to Christmas, Flower Girl, Banana Island Ghost and many more. She won Best Actress in a TV Series at the 2011 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
In August 2014, Adegbite got engaged to Chris Attoh, a fellow actor she met on set of the soap opera Tinsel. In September 2014, the couple welcomed their son Brian.
Damilola Adegbite and Attoh married privately in Accra, Ghana on 14 February, 2015. In September 2017, news broke that Adegbite’s marriage to husband Chris Attoh had crashed.
Damilola Adegbite had sparked split rumours after she deleted Chris Attoh’s surname from her social-media accounts.
She also unfollowed him on Instagram, deleted all photos of him from her social media account. Hours later, in an interview, Chris Attoh confirmed his marriage to Damilola Adegbite was over.
Damilola Adegbite founded Damiville and Kasham by Adedamee, a store that offers aromatherapy and sells accessories and make up products. Damiville is located in Lekki, Lagos State Nigeria.
