None of Amy Robach and TJ Holmes’ former colleagues at ABC have gotten in touch with the pair after they lost their anchor seats on ‘Good Morning America‘ following a cheating scandal, insiders have claimed.
Amy and TJ’s illicit relationship was made public after photos of them sharing intimate moments were revealed by the press in 2022 when the two were relaxing in New York.
They were taken off the air in the days that followed, prompting them to leave ‘GMA’ and receive the entire amount of their contract compensation.
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News. We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions,” a representative for the network said in a statement at the time.
Now, sources say the duo’s former colleagues at the network have moved on like they “never existed.”
‘The TV business is rough’
“Inside ABC, it’s like Amy and TJ never existed,” one insider told Radar Online.
“Their offices have been emptied and their pictures removed. Staffers are encouraged to never mention their names again. Even Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos have had zero contact with them after years of working together. The TV business is rough.”
Another source told the outlet they have all “moved on to the idea of working without the departed couple.” Amy and TJ left ‘GMA’ on January 27 after the network concluded its internal investigation into their secret affair.
Amy allegedly landed a “bigger settlement” than her boyfriend.
Amy was planning on exposing her co-workers at ABC in a tell-all book, Radar Online previously reported, adding she only agreed to remain silent after being offered a huge payday.
Now, Amy Robach and TJ are apparently looking to make a television comeback and hope to join another network that will value them more.
Radaronline.com learned that the duo has been looking at offers from NewsNation, whose boss Michael Corn is allegedly welcoming them with open arms.
