It’s a sad time for Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his family as the actor just lost his first son, Kambilichukwu.
The movie star, who celebrated his son’s birthday in January suddenly lost the vibrant young boy.
Although, the cause of his death is unknown, it was learnt that the boy was rushed to the hospital yesterday, Wednesday, March 28th and was receiving medical care before he died.
According to unverified reports, Kambilichukwu read throughout the night on Tuesday in preparation for his exams on Wednesday.
After his examination on Wednesday, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure. He was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
On his birthday in January, his mother, May Edochie penned a powerful birthday message to him.
In her social media birthday message to him, May reminded him that he is more mature and smarter now than he was before.
She added that to her, his birthday wasn’t just a regular birthday, but a special one as it was his 16th birthday.
May wrote: “It’s Kambi’s birthday, hurray!
My first son, today is not just your regular birthday, it’s your 16th and a very special one. I wish you the very best life has to offer on this marvelous milestone. I want you to realize that you are more mature now and smarter.
“May heaven open and rain blessings and favour upon you to the glory of God. You s be greater than our expectations and no evil shall come near you. Keep making us proud my super son. Keep shining, love you always”.
Today, his family is mourning his untimely demise. May the young boy’s soul rest in peace and may God comfort his family and give them the fortitude to bear this loss.
